In Chasse à l'ACE, each canvas is a card, but none of them tell the same story. They are fragments of an imaginary game, where chance flirts with intuition, where familiar figures reinvent themselves under new colors, new skins.

Playing cards serve as a pretext for metaphor: cards of destiny, ambition, power… but also of waiting, risk, and solitude. The Ace, elusive and coveted, becomes the central thread of this series: an inner quest, a calling, sometimes an illusion. We seek it, we hunt it, but perhaps it is the Ace that is watching us. Each work in the collection possesses its own light, its own breath. No card lies, but all hold their secrets.

Through this series, I want to evoke the strange familiarity of card games, these objects that are both common and full of mystery, by giving them a new life, free from all rules.

Hunting for the AS is an invitation to play differently, with the invisible, with oneself, with art.
